Into the Light

Another picture for *theme-of-the-week, this time for the theme Into the Light.

I had a hard time deciding on what to draw for this theme - since I have many characters that it would fit - but in the end I went for what I really felt for, which was some random guy with lots of magic and light effects. It was a while since I drew some real, kicks ass fantasy. Simple as that.

Or... well... it's not really simple, but you get the point

Soooo... travelling through a book. You've never heard about that before, have you? *cough, cough*
Well, I wasn't aiming for original, so I can settle for this because it was fun to draw, even if it took more time than necessary. Mostly because I drew an average of ten minutes per hour (during the hours I was awake that is) but I managed to finish it rather quickly anyway.
It sucked pretty bad to have shaded the whole thing and then cover it all up with lots of dark and light colours though, but that's how it looks the best

And no, I have no idea who that guy is, but apparently he was asleep during the 'don't play with the dangerous magical things'-lesson x'D
He's kinda cute though, and some sort of mage.

Ah well.
