Description
This is a part of an art trade with Sjazna where we redrew one of the other's old drawings. I picked her Are you scared?
Laurion (the blond dude) is mine, while Zayed (the dark haired one) is hers. It was ages since I drew these two, but I had a lot of fun, especially with Laurion. I think this might be the first time that I've actually allowed myself to draw his lips the way they're supposed to be. He is one feminine looking dude.
The story, as far as I remember, was some kind of post-apocalyptic thing where they came from different clans and Laurion ended up torturing Zayed just for the fun of it. Laurion is lovely.
So while working on this picture I realised that I have obviously been on the wrong track with him. I usually play him as a protagonist (if a very nasty one) but I think it's safe to say that from now on, I should count him as an antagonist. I even managed to convince Sjazna that we should add Laurion as the bad guy into one of our roleplays. Which, in hindsight, might be a very bad idea, since he might very well end up killing the entire cast. OH WELL.

... y'know I always kind of figured he'd be at least leaning towards evil, haha.
Also I am strangely pleased by the cut on Zayed's cheek. The colour is just so beautiful? Which, yeah, makes me sound super well adjusted and all that. (In fact, all the attention to detail when it comes to the wound/bruising is fantastic, because it tells a story; he's struggled, scraped his palms against something, presumably gotten backhanded for speaking up, maybe even choked for.)
